The Presidency that the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) held in TAFTIE ended as of January 1 2015. TAFTIE, or the European Network of Innovative Agencies, is an association bringing together 29 members.
The Presidency was officially handed over to a German agency VDI/VDE-IT at TAFTIE Board Meeting held in Brussels on 26 November 2014.
Throughout its one-year Presidency not only did PARP lead TAFTIE, but also organized a series of events. PARP Presidency Calendar included expert sessions and conferences on:
In addition to that, TAFTIE and EUREKA Secretariat co-hosted a session on helping SMEs grow. The session was a part of the 2. Innovation Convention organized by the European Commission in Brussels. More than 500 experts in supporting and financing innovation attended the six events.
Polish Presidency programme
During PARP Presidency in TAFTIE, SIEA of Slovakia became TAFTIE member. In 2014 the Association reached out to high-quality agencies from outside Europe: the Brazilian Innovation Agency (FINEP)
and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) joined the network as International Partners.
Memoranda of understanding between TAFTIE and its International Partners were concluded on 25 November 2014 in Brussels.
Amongst TAFTIE Task Forces which continued their activities in 2014 are:
Task Force on State Aid Rules, Task Force on Benchmarking the Impact, Effectiveness and Efficiency of Policy Instruments implemented by Innovation Agencies and Task Force on Selection Procedures).

In 2015 PARP will keep its involvement in TAFTIE as a member of the Troika, with this year’s Chair VDI/VDI-IT and the French member Bpifrance.
